Classic Series - Japanese Style Skiver

The Japanese style skiver excels at making clean and precise straight cuts in leather as well as cutting squared ends and making intricate corner cuts within your leather. 

This style blade can also be used for skiving leather, although it is not its primary function.

The Handle of this Japanese skiver has been set in a beautifully lathed and hand shaped handle made from Kiaate and finished with a copper ferrel.  The handle is specifically designed and hand shaped to fit comfortably in your hand. 

 Included in the custom made gift box is a hand cut and compounded leather strop to allow you to maintain the edge of your knife to keep you skiving more leather for longer.
