FROM HANDS TO HEART

We are a Husband and Wife Team that together make the heart of Chartermade.  Each Chartermade Knife is handmade. From designing to finishing each hand crafted piece is created from the Artisanal Hands of Terrick.  This process takes time but the end results are worth the effort and patience.  We  are so enormously grateful for all the support we have recieved.  As soon as knives are available they are soon sold out.  We will be loading new knives on the 15th of each month, and then again at the end of each month.

As a husband and wife team we take pride in being able to connect with artisans from around the world and share in their journey of courage and creation.  Recently we have made a few of these gorgeous bone folders and are excited to share them with you.  Made from Curly Maple, each of these bone folders have been individually stabilized, cut, shaped and polished to a luxurious finish.

Chartermade is more than just a brand.  The name Chartermade came about from the combination of my wife's name Charlene and my name Terrick. 

Each Knife in the Chartermade workshop is hand crafted from start to finish.  I pride myself in the quality and beauty of the tools I use, and love when tools make creating easier and enjoyable.  It is with this in mind that I created the Chartermade Leather knife Range.  I want to bring elegance, finesse and most importantly, function to my fellow leather artisans.
